Wealthsimple or Questrade: Which One is Better for Investing?

If you’ve been thinking about investing in Canada, you’ve probably seen this question everywhere: “Wealthsimple or Questrade?”

It’s one of the most common comparisons I see from investors who want a simple, effective, low-cost way to grow their money.

And it makes sense.

Most Canadians are trying to figure out: 👉 How do I avoid high fees? 👉 Where should I open my TFSA? 👉 What’s actually the easiest way to start investing?

At a basic level, both Wealthsimple and Questrade are online investing platforms that let you buy stocks and ETFs, often with much lower fees than traditional banks. That alone can make a huge difference over time, especially if you’re investing consistently.

From my own experience working in the wealth management industry (and now using both platforms personally), I’ve seen how each one fits different types of investors depending on their goals, habits, and how hands-on they want to be.

But here’s the problem: The differences aren’t always obvious at first glance… and that’s where most people get stuck. So instead of overloading this email, I broke everything down in a simple way in a quick video 👇

If you’re deciding where to start investing, or wondering if you’re using the right platform, this will give you the clarity you need.

Cheers,
Femi
