Canada Housing Market 2025: Home Sales Rise, Prices Hit $673,000

🇨🇦 Buying a house in Canada just got harder for first-time buyers…

Home sales jumped 6.6% vs last year and rose for the 4th straight month.

The biggest gains were in Ontario, B.C., and Alberta, while Quebec and some Atlantic provinces saw declines.

The average home price is $673,000, and experts warn this “rebound” could turn into a seller’s market by 2026 if demand keeps outpacing supply.

Even with more listings expected this fall, affordability and a weaker job market remain big challenges.
